Perfect ambience for the perfect meal. We had the queen violet noodle salad, chicken curry, and queen violet pancakes. Great brunch spot to meet with friends.

The ambience is excellent! So befitting of the name Queen Violet. The decor is regal. The food is delicious. All our friends only had good things to say about the food. They all want ro come back and try other dishes listed on the menu. The magic noodle does not disappoint. It is not only delicious but it also magical that it changes in color. It was blue then it was violet! Amazing! The staff were all helpful and accommodating. They took the time to explain the health benefits of the drinks that they were serving. I highly recommend this restaurant.

this is the cutest little restaurant! very picturesque. the food is also amazing! i ordered the magic noodles as my entree, it was a good portion for me although i can see it being a little too small for people with larger appetites. service was very friendly, they were very busy and seem understaffed but were kind nonetheless.

I will be returning to this place! FOOD 10/10 As far as the flavor of the food goes 10/10. Every dish was unique and flavorful. We started with appetizers and got the homemade empanadas that came with a creamy Thai peanut sauce, and the Brussel sprouts which were divine (sweet, salty, flavorful, and the perfect texture). It did take a very long time for those who ordered the New Zealand Lambchops to get their food, but the food was more than worth the wait. We were a party of 8, ordered a variety of dishes, and tasted each others food. ALL OF IT tasted absolutely AMAZING including the khao soy, and the magic noodles. DRINKS 9/10 The queen violet 10/10 Strawberry rose 0/10 don't recommend it doesn't taste sweet like it sounds was very tart Thai tea 9/10 AMBIANCE 9/10 Upon arrival the venue was even more beautiful than I expected, inside and out. There were beautiful flowers everywhere and a lovely chandelier inside the dining area along with a lovely shrine. It felt like dining in the courtyard of a flower garden. We were sat in the right corner which was somewhat dark and tucked away so they brought over mini lamps that went on the table. It definitely helped set the mood. SERVICE 9/10 Both of our servers were great, kind, and accommodating. There was no wait when we arrived on time for our reservation. 1 point was lost because of how long it took for the lamb to come out, the whole table had eaten their food by the time ours arrived. The flavor made up for it so any complaints I would have had disappeared. I highly recommend this place and will be going back multiple times to order every one of these dishes to enjoy them in full.

Did an order to go and it was packed so well. The magic worked at home too! I was so amazed to see the color change! This was definitely made for a Queen!! I have visited Thailand many times and I will say the flavor is authentic as heck!!! It is spicy, sweet, sour, salty all in the most beautiful way. I am so happy I stumbled upon this venue. Prices are reasonable for the area and parking easy too! Can't ask for much more if you are looking for AUTHENTIC food, BEAUTIFUL presentation and ambience of the place, and easy parking!

Perfect for a weekend brunch! I went with a few of my gals and we absolutely loved it. Never mind the cutesy floral decor encompassing the outside seating area, but the food itself was actually really good! Queen Violet stands out for their violet-colored menu items such as their magic noodles and some beverages. I was a little weary of such a place as often it can be "gimmicky" and cute-looking while the food itself lacks in flavor. However there is nothing lacking about Queen Violet! We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered including the magic noodles, khao soi, Mongolian beef, an off-menu larb dish they so kindly created, and even their quesadilla! Add bottomless mimosas and you've got an epic brunch experience right there.

I was pleasantly surprised with Queen Violet WeHo. Known for its aesthetic and Instagrammable decor, I came in with low expectations. However, Queen Violet WeHo was a hit for our group. Their Thai dishes exceeded our expectations. We opted for family style on a Sunday and enjoyed most, if not all, of the dishes we ordered. The dishes had reasonable portions, struck a great balance of flavoring and seasoning, and were, as you can expect, well-plated. Additionally, the staff was friendly and patient. They didn't rush at all even when they had to take care of multiple tables. Nestled in an outdoor venue, it provided the perfect ambiance to catch up between friends. Think of a small outdoor wedding venue, but at a Thai restaurant! My favorite dish was the Crab Fried Rice. This dish can be tricky to make, especially since the flavor of crab can be overpowering or is often made too salty. However, Queen Violet WeHo delivered an exceptionally well-balanced entree. The Five Spiced Chicken Wings and Garlic Green Beans were also table favorites. Overall, we were very impressed and would definitely be back if we're in the neighborhood! Great work, Queen Violet WeHo!

Some of the best Thai food I've had in a while. Sat out on the cutest patio which was really comfortable and great aesthetics. Service was extremely friendly even when they're running around like crazy. I had the Thai pink angel hair which was so tasty bi added extra tofu for more protein. The eggrolls were really good but be warned they're served at a hot temperature. The whole party loved the food here. A gem in West Hollywood.

Now here's an Instagram moment waiting to happen. Even though Jamie W. and I have walked by it in our past WeHo jaunts on Santa Monica Blvd, it wasn't until I saw it identified in an Instagram short as one of the five most beautiful restaurants in LA. I decided we should have lunch here since we were in town for PRIDE. The flurries of colorful flowers definitely make a statement as we walked toward the entry arch. They're not real, but that's beside the point. It felt like walking onto the set of "The Wizard of Oz" when Dorothy overdoses on fields of scarlet poppies. But now they're violet wisteria. We were the first to show up, so we sat down in the terrace next to a wall of flowers and perused the extensive menu. Even though Jamie just had a Diet Coke, I decided I wanted one of their signature cocktails. The fruity $16 Tipsy Queen came with its own botanical arrangement of mini-roses and a lemon tree branch. It consisted of champagne, strawberry syrup with mixed berries, mint, sliced blood orange, and a sorbet popsicle (photo: https://yelp.to/XmnSkPmJdB). Refreshing though as potent as a spritzer. For his meal, Jamie went for the $20 Drunken Noodle, his usual pick at a Thai restaurant since he doesn't like to get adventurous. Rice noodles were mixed in a spicy brown sauce with chicken breast, onion, green pepper, and basil (photo: https://yelp.to/OygPHJzBHt). It was savory good but nothing that exceptional. Mine, however, was a standout, a chef's signature Northern Thai curry soup, the $30 Khao Soi. Kale noodles, lime, red onion, cilantro, and pickles were steeped in a rich coconut milk curry soup crowned with two fall-off-the-bone tender short ribs (photo: https://yelp.to/43nMrgrsUy). That was worth a return visit. FOOD - 4 stars...everything was tasty enough, but the winner was in the coconut milk curry soup AMBIANCE - 5 stars...the floral scape was indeed impressive SERVICE - 4.5 stars...very attentive server TOTAL - 4 stars...almost 5, more potent cocktails might help RELATED - Exploring WeHo?
